Fares go by the distance between the two stations, in ten bands: ₹11 up to 2 km, ₹17 up to 4 km, ₹28 up to 6 km, ₹37 up to 9 km, ₹47 up to 12 km, ₹51 up to 15 km, ₹56 up to 18 km, ₹61 up to 21 km, ₹65 up to 24 km and ₹69 beyond. Tokens, paper and digital QR tickets and smart cards all cost the same. HMRL's printed fare chart shows the fares before the discount in force since 24 May 2025 (₹12 to ₹75); the fares here are the discounted ones you pay. The chart charges some trips between the Green Line and the Red Line stations from Khairatabad to Osmania Medical College much more than their distance suggests (Osmania Medical College to RTC Cross Roads is ₹61); this site shows the chart's fare.
